Why the right direction is not the answer
Economics marks are attached to the chain of reasoning and to the diagram, not to the final direction. A student who writes price falls has usually earned one mark of five. The tutor asks which curve moves and why before it will discuss any outcome, which is the order the mark scheme follows.
