Why suitability is the exam
A large share of Series 7 items give you a customer and ask which recommendation fits. Product knowledge answers what a security does, and the exam asks who it is for. The tutor asks for the profile before the product every time.
Personal here means it remembers which product area keeps failing in suitability items specifically, which is a different weakness from not knowing the product at all.
