From the course descriptor AUT publishes for each course, which lists the summative assessments and their weightings. Guides name the descriptor date they were built from, and you should confirm the current descriptor on Canvas before exams.
A condition in the descriptor that must be met independently of your overall grade, for example achieving at least a C- in a practical assessment or completing required clinical hours. To pass such a course you need both the required overall average and the hurdle.
