Our Commitment to Copyright Protection

AskSia Inc. (“AskSia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users of our Services to do the same. We are committed to responding promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”).

AskSia operates as a platform where users can create, save, and share learning sessions. We do not review, endorse, or verify the legality of user-shared content before it is made available. We rely on copyright holders and our users to identify and report any alleged infringement so that we may take swift and appropriate action.

Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Takedown Notice)

If you are a copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that content available on or through AskSia's Services infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification of claimed infringement (“Takedown Notice”) to our designated DMCA Agent.

Your Takedown Notice must include all of the following information, as required by Section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA:

1.

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

2.

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works on our Services are covered by a single notification, you may provide a representative list of such works.

3.

Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit AskSia to locate the material. Please provide the specific URL(s) or other identifying information for the content in question.

4.

Information reasonably sufficient to permit AskSia to contact you, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

5.

A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

6.

A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Where to Send Takedown Notices: All DMCA Takedown Notices should be sent to our designated Copyright Agent:

AskSia Inc. — Copyright Agent
Email: copyright@asksia.ai

Please note: Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. If you are not sure whether material on our Services infringes your copyright, we suggest consulting an attorney before submitting a Takedown Notice.

Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that content you posted on AskSia was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification (“Counter-Notice”) to our Copyright Agent.

Your Counter-Notice must include all of the following:

1.

Your physical or electronic signature.

2.

Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled (e.g., the URL).

3.

A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.

4.

Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which AskSia may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original Takedown Notice or an agent of such person.

What Happens After a Counter-Notice Is Filed: Upon receiving a valid Counter-Notice, AskSia will:

Promptly provide a copy of the Counter-Notice to the original complaining party.

Inform the original complaining party that AskSia will restore the removed material in not less than 10, nor more than 14, business days.

Restore the removed material between 10 and 14 business days after receiving the Counter-Notice, unless AskSia first receives notice from the original complaining party that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, AskSia has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat copyright infringers.

AskSia operates a strike system for copyright violations:

First Strike: The infringing content is removed and the user receives a formal warning notification explaining the violation and the consequences of future violations.

Second Strike: The infringing content is removed and the user receives a second warning. The user's ability to share content in AskSia Library may be temporarily restricted.

Third Strike: The user's account is terminated and the user is permanently banned from the Services.

Strikes are recorded on a rolling 12-month basis. Strikes older than 12 months are no longer counted toward the threshold, though a record of the violation is retained.

AskSia reserves the right to terminate any user's account at any time, with or without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to repeated copyright infringement, regardless of the number of strikes.

Copyright Management Information (CMI)

AskSia does not alter, remove, or obscure any copyright management information contained in or associated with user-uploaded content. Copyright management information includes, but is not limited to, the title of the work, the name of the author or copyright owner, copyright notices, and terms and conditions for use.

Users are prohibited from removing, altering, or obscuring any CMI from materials they upload or share on AskSia. Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination.

Content Shared in AskSia Library

AskSia Library allows users to share learning sessions with the AskSia community. By sharing content in Library, users represent and warrant that they have the right to share such content and that it does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.

AskSia does not pre-screen user-shared content. We are not responsible for content posted by users and do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, legality, or quality of any user-shared content. We act as a neutral platform and rely on our community and rights holders to report potential copyright violations.

Good Faith and Fair Use

AskSia encourages copyright holders and users alike to consider whether the content in question may constitute fair use before submitting a Takedown Notice or Counter-Notice. While AskSia cannot provide legal advice or make fair use determinations, we recognize the importance of fair use in educational contexts.
