Building a Library pack

A Library pack is a curated study bundle for a single course or exam — pre-organized cheat sheets, dual-coding cards, and recall-tested topics, organized by unit. Some are pre-built. Most students build their own. Both paths take less time than they should.

Using a pre-built pack

The Library has packs for high-traffic exams and courses — AP Calculus BC, AP Biology, intro economics, organic chemistry, MCAT review blocks, and dozens more. To use one:

1. Open Library from the AskSia sidebar.
2. Search by exam name or course code.
3. Click Add to my library. The pack drops into your workspace and shows up alongside your other courses.

Pre-built packs are a starting point. You'll customize once you start running through them.

A pack organizes your material. For a dated, week-by-week study plan and timed mock exams, use the AskSia desktop agent — that's where planning and mocks live.

Building your own from a syllabus

This is the move that turns AskSia from "useful tool" into "the way I study this semester."

1. Open Library → Create new pack.
2. Drag in your syllabus PDF, or pick a connected course from your LMS.
3. Confirm the topic breakdown. AskSia auto-extracts the units and topic structure from your syllabus — you can edit any of it.
4. Pick what to include — cheat sheets per unit, recall cards, tutor prompts, full Playground sets, or all of the above.
5. Hit Build. The pack assembles in about two minutes.

Building from a course pack (instead of a syllabus)

If your professor distributes a course pack — a single document with lecture outlines, problem sets, and reading lists — drop the whole thing in. AskSia parses the structure the same way it parses a syllabus, and the resulting pack tends to match the actual sequence of the course more closely than a syllabus-based pack would.

Updating it through the semester

Your pack stays live. New lecture material syncs in automatically through the LMS connection. You can also drag new files in manually at any point.
