The Electronic Course Profile for the semester each guide names. UQ's Assessment Procedure requires the profile to give the weighting and aggregation of every item, any hurdle requirement and the exam format, so it is the reference for our tables. Some UQ class materials say only that grading is explained in the course profile, which is why the profile matters.
A requirement in the course profile that must be satisfied to receive a particular grade or grades. Meeting a hurdle does not guarantee a pass; it only keeps you eligible to pass if your other assessment is good enough. Not every course has one, and where one exists the profile says so.
The week before end of semester exams when there are no classes and students revise. The Semester 2 2026 planner places SWOTVAC immediately ahead of the examination period. Guides that cover a final exam say which items fall in that period.
Most courses are graded from 1 to 7, with 4 a pass and 7 the highest. The GPA multiplies each grade by the course's unit value, sums the products and divides by the total units, and is recalculated after each semester's final grades.

UQ Library gives students the exam papers UQ Examinations has released over the last five years, searchable by full or partial course code and delivered as a PDF or an Inspera link; papers reach the Library three to four months after the semester, and school based or mid semester exams stay with the school. AskSia guides do not host papers. They set out the exam format from the course profile by question type, beside the weights, with a worked example marked stage by stage.
