The web app at asksia.ai is the full AskSia study studio — the place where everything comes together. It's built around your materials, not a generic chatbot, and it's best experienced in Chrome, where every feature is smoothest.

Record your lecture, ask while it runs

This is the feature students love most. Hit record at the start of class and Sia gives you a real-time transcript as your professor speaks — with speaker labels, so you can see who said what. You don't have to wait until it's over: you can ask Sia questions while the recording is still going ("wait, what did she just mean by that?") and it answers from what's been said so far, tagging the key concepts as they come up.

Already have a recording? Upload the audio or video instead and you get the same transcript and notes. Either way, the moment a lecture lands it can become a clean Sia Note automatically.

Every answer is cited to your own materials

When Sia answers, it shows you exactly where the answer came from — and the citation is fine-grained:

• Page-level for PDFs
• Slide-level for PowerPoint and slides
• Timestamp-level (down to the second) for audio, video, and YouTube

You can click straight through to that exact page, slide, or moment and check it yourself, even across a whole semester of materials. That's the point: answers from your syllabus, not the internet. AI can still make mistakes — citations are how you verify every one.

Bring everything in at once

Start a study session by loading many files at the same time — dozens in one go, so a whole course or a stack of lecture material is ready in minutes. Sia handles the formats you actually use:

From anything you bring in, a single click generates a full set of study aids:

• A Summary of the material
• Flashcards for quick review
• A Quiz to test yourself
• A Sia Note — a clean, structured note in a Cornell-style layout: cues down the side, content in the body, and a one-line Feynman summary that explains the whole thing in plain English
• A Visual map that lays out how the ideas connect

Alongside all of that, you can chat with your own materials to ask questions and dig in, and take your own notes right beside them.

How to start

1. Open asksia.ai in Chrome and sign in.
2. Add your files — drop in documents, slides, photos, audio, video, a YouTube link, or a web article, as many as you like at once.
3. Record a lecture, ask Sia a question, or click to generate a Summary, Flashcards, a Quiz, a Sia Note, or a Visual map.

One account, everywhere you study

Your AskSia account is the same across web, mobile, and desktop — one login, one subscription, all of it. A couple of jobs live better elsewhere, so the web app points you there when it makes sense:

• Want your LMS course content — courses, syllabi, recorded lectures, materials — inside AskSia? Use the Chrome extension to sync it in one click instead of hand-uploading recordings.
