Plans & pricing, explained

Billing · Updated June 2026

AskSia keeps plans simple. There are four: Free, Plus, Super, and A+. The big thing to know up front is that one account plus one subscription unlocks every AskSia product — the web app, the mobile app, the Chrome extension, the desktop agent, WordJump, and the Library. You don't buy them separately or stack add-ons. The plans differ mainly in how much you can do — how many files and pages you can bring in, how much lecture audio you can transcribe, and how fast things process. For the exact current numbers and the full per-plan breakdown, the always-up-to-date source is the pricing page — we point you there instead of repeating figures that can change.

The four plans, at a glance

Here's the directional picture — what each plan adds as you move up. Think of it as the same AskSia with more room to work. For the latest numbers, check the pricing page.

Free

A no-cost way to start using all of AskSia, with generous starter limits on things like uploads, pages, and transcription — enough to genuinely study, not just peek. No credit card required: just sign up and go. It's the easiest way to try everything out before deciding on anything.

Plus

A paid plan that lifts the Free limits — more uploads, more pages, and more transcription — for students who use AskSia regularly and start bumping into the starter caps.

Super

A higher paid plan that adds more headroom on top of Plus — even bigger limits — plus priority processing so your summaries, quizzes, and transcripts come back faster when you're moving quickly through a heavy course load.

A+

The top plan: effectively unlimited, so you're not watching any caps. Along with everything in the lower plans, A+ is the one that carries the Grade Confidence Guarantee — a separate, grade-based program for eligible students, with its own eligibility and usage requirements. See The Grade Confidence Guarantee, explained for who qualifies and how it works.

Monthly or annual — those are billing cadences, not plans

Each paid plan — Plus, Super, and A+ — can be billed monthly or annually. "Monthly" and "Annual" are simply how often you're charged; they are not separate plans. You pick a plan first, then choose the cadence that suits you. The pricing page shows both side by side.

One subscription, every product

Whatever plan you choose, you use the same account everywhere: deep work on the web, your LMS content via the Chrome extension, recording and studying on mobile, and planning and mock exams on the desktop agent. There's nothing extra to buy to move between them — one subscription unlocks the lot.

Auto-renewal, and how to stay in control

Paid plans auto-renew so your access doesn't lapse mid-term. You're always in control:

  • You can cancel anytime — and you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • You can delete your account anytime.
  • Where you subscribe is where you manage it. If you signed up on the web, you manage and cancel on the web; if you subscribed through Apple or Google Play, you manage it there.

For step-by-step instructions, see How to cancel your subscription. If you're looking to get money back, see How to request a refund.
