Your study materials are personal, and you should know exactly what happens to them. The short version: AskSia stores what it needs to help you study, we never train AI on your materials, and you can delete everything anytime. Here's the full picture.

What AskSia stores

To work as your study companion, AskSia keeps:

• Your files — the documents, slides, recordings, and other materials you bring in.
• Your chats — your conversations with Sia about your materials.
• Your notes — the notes you take and the Sia Notes generated alongside your work.
• Your study progress — so you can pick up where you left off.

That's it. We store this so your work is there when you come back and so Sia can understand your course over time.

It's used only to help you study

Everything AskSia stores is used for one purpose: helping you study. Your files, chats, notes, and progress make Sia's answers more relevant to your specific course and materials — they aren't used for anything else.

We never train AI on your materials

This is a firm commitment: AskSia never trains AI on your materials. Your files and conversations stay yours. They're not fed into model training, and they don't become anyone else's study content.

One account across every product

AskSia is one account across all products — web, mobile, the Chrome extension, the desktop agent, WordJump, and the Library. Your materials and study history follow that single account, so what you store is consistent wherever you sign in, and so is your control over it.
